Just ordered the calsonic skyline from ebay tt01 chassis. I also orderd bearings and the aluminium shaft. I am getting some PVC tires as well. Wut's a decent motor that will last a long time??? O ya post pics of your tt01 if you got one.

HI there,
I have the same kit - I wish I'd painted it in a more interesting colour though. Drifting a logo'd up race car looks a little silly!
Might buy something like an RX7 and paint it a wild colour, along with some chrome wheels etc!!!
I run mine on the Sport Tuned Tamiya motor. No doubt there are more powerful/torquey motors to drift with.
With 3000mAh NiMh cells I'm getting at least 20 minutes of run time as a rule.
The TT01 seems to drift quite easily on ABS. I've found that there's an awful lot of variation between tarmac or 'pavement' as the Americans amongst us call it, which affects the handling markedly.

I am going to paint it like it says cuz i love how that looks but i will aslo do something custom. Undecided yet though, any suggeestions?
