Text/Titles: 2/5 ( A little more modern font wouldn't hurt. Check out: [link]http://www.dafont.com[/link] for tons of free fonts.)
Transitions: 3/5 ( Adding some minor effects never hurts, like fading in/out, swipes, etc. etc. )
Music: 1/5 ( Sorry, just not my thing. )
Video: 3/5 ( The on-car cam was pretty shakey, maybe you can stabilize it or put it on an off-road r/c with plenty of suspension travel to soak up the bumps. )
Driving: 4/5 ( You guys handle your rigs pretty well, I can't wait to see future videos from you guys down under! )

Overall I would say this is a great start to a potentially awesome series of videos.

Thanks for the constructive comments man,

- The fonts, well I guess i could have used a fancy font in the opening writing and credits, i mainly went for the styled fonts in the main title screens etc.
- The transitions is somthing I knida wanted to steer away from in this vid as too many effects can distract from the actual footage. In saying that I used fades and flash effect to go with the music and the footage was cut up many times to fit to the music.
- The music, well, couldn't cater to everyones needs there, no one ever can.
- The camera on an Offroad vehicle is a good idea, i might have to sort somthing there. We plan on alot more from the side footage too in the next video to with planned scenes etc.
- The drifting of these guys is awesome and we will capture alot more in the next video

Movie: 10/10! the movie its self was really good. great angles on the shots and well done on the fade ins!

Music for video: 2/10. The reason i gave you the 2 is because the song didnt really go with the video. if the video was snapping around more the song would be good for it. I recomend using punk or low key metal, or rock. if you need any suggestions feel free to ask me.

Music for Credits: 10/10! Hands down that was an EXCILENT CHOICE!

Video: 10/10! there were alot of digital graghics in there that i liked such as the fading. that was extremly well done.

Overall:8/10! all though the music for the wideo section was questionable, overall it was pretty good. I cant wait to see some more of your work.

The only reason that the Canberra Rc Drift music is Different is that we are sick of hearing punk music in ever RC Drift video as for future video's they will all have different music because thats what makes us not like the others but thanks for the comments but this is something that i think we will never change but everything else is nagoshable

Now, if you guys really wanted to be popular * COUGH SG DRIFTERS COUGH *, you would throw in some cheesy Japanese pop music with whining vocals and synths from the 1980's. That seems to be the ultimate music for R/C drift videos. [sm=stupid.gif]

Yes but we don't have to put crapy music to the drifting to be popular video 2 will showcase the that we have skillz and that is all that should matter not the fact that we fit the SG profile thoughs guy are really good but if everyone was the same it would be boring and i dont like living in the shadows of anyone so if our second video is not SG3/SG4 spec or better it wont be released we have big plans and i don't think most of the boyz in Canberra want to be Second best.

You're already off to a better start than they were. To be "better" requires exposure to more people for their opinion. The SG videos have TONS of hits, which accounts to a larger e-*****. So you're going to need to spam the video all over the web to get people spreading it by word of mouth. Have you thought of a short name for yourselves?, since it isn't the easiest thing to say 'Canberra Drifters'.

Hi i was just wondering if you could somehow help me cause i cant seem to be able to download the video of the site i clicked on the drift video tag and then on download drift video .......... then it loads another site and nothing happens.[:@] and it sounds like it is a good vid so if any one can help me please help me cause i realy want to see it

Hey man,

I just checked the link off of www.canberrarcdrift.com under the drift video section and it works well.
Make sure you are right clicking the link and 'save target as' as this will save it to your pc.

What an ass. For one, MAC = brand of computers and Windows = clear glass. If you're going to rip on something at least do it right. I'll give you the proper fanboyish statements so you both can be happy. 1) OSX rules, Windows XP sucks! 2) MACs rule PCs suck! or visa-versa depending on your fanboyism. It's nice that you took the time to sign up for an account just to say what you did, maybe next time you can do it and not make an idiot out of yourself.

I thought the driving in those vids looked really good. most of the slides looked really smooth and controlled. looking forward to future work
