Ok. Wow.

Nobody is condoning WAISTING money on a quality product. If all you can afford or care to buy is a drift king, then so be it. However, if/when that breaks, you'll have to buy another one to keep r/c drifting. So, it's more of shelling out more cash up front to get more long term pleasure. And as far as drifting goes, it's a fun sport. If you plan on continuing with it, then you're going to spend money doing it, regardless. Unless you're just a bandwagon type of fellow and just doing something because you think it's cool. I'm not saying that you are, but it really is worth getting a real car. Just less hastle.

Koolkattz, welcome to rc universe. You'll find that it's a bit more active than SG (i'M on there too) but it's more drama, as you can see. But, it's a pretty informative site for the n00bs...ACTUALLY it's pretty informative period. I've learned quite a bit from it.

That's my $.02. Actually, it probably all adds up to about $1.37 after taxes and inflation. But who's counting.

Not to brag or anything, But i got my TC3 RTR for less then the Drift king, And see em daily for just over. I'd rather have something that's fully adjustable, Upgradable, With TONS of aftermarket part's and support.

It has that "TOY" thing to it.. I would much rather stick with tt-01

its nice to see so many people bash a drift king without owning one themselves. good to see so many "pros" here, ready to offer their valuble information. but honestly, if you dont know about the product, you shouldnt be talking trash about it. these DKs are actually quite decent for the price, and with an upgraded motor, i can see itll be a lota fun. interesting how when one so called "pro" bashed on these, a whole bunch of his other minions bashed on it too. then another "pro", this time a real one who modded his DK, praised it, these minions seem to praise it too. i think you all need to grow up, and form your own opinions on experience. but this is just what i think, and if you guy s really want to endorse the opinion of a "pro" cool guy, then go ahead. you all are worthless, experienceless, opinionless crowd followers, and i bet that'll make you so leet and earn you another year of virginity. these drift kings are awesome, and they can pull off some serious drifting action. for someone like me who doesnt give a crap about 'tuning' my rc as much as tuning my actual automobile, these are absolutely amazing as they are already setup great for drifting.

PS: is it only me, or is it just the loser noob kids who like to speak out and bash things to look like a big bad wolf? haha, wolves in sheeps clothing. shame on you.

oh yea, and for long drifts at full speed, just brake with wheels turned in the opposite direction, and then quickly accel. with wheels in intended direction and counter steer. thats all there is to it for these things.

just to clear things up for any one wanting to get a tyco drift car. simply these are toys but for the wanna be drifter starting out these are a great starting point for those on a budget. sure there not going to last for ever but they are a lot of fun. personaly if your serious save up and by the real thing

I'll bash the drift king, because I know they suck! And any Wolf telling Sheep that these things are upgradable and worth anyones time besides a six year olds, Needs to stay at toys r us with the six year olds.
