Default Locking Diffs on Stage D Kit

Since the HPI stage D kit is designed to drift already, is it pointless to lock the diffs. Im running an O.S. .18 CV-RX, so the car has more than enough power to get it going sideways. Im just afraid locking the diffs will make the car spin out completely instead of just drifting. What do you guys think?

i locked the rear diffs, but are you supposed to lock the front diffs as well for the purpose of drifting?

Not necessarily. The Yokomo Nitro Drift cars run locked front and rear diffs, but I think you'd have better results with a locked rear diff and a ball diff up front.
