Default Acceptance of Speed

I'm still debating between a tt-01 and a yokomo drift package and I'm wonering which car will accept speed better with only a more powerful motor? no new gears or any other hop ups. (only ball bearings on the tt-01) [&:]

So I'll be spending much more on extra parts on a tt-01 than a yokomo if i want upgrade the motor? btw thanks for the help on the last couple of threads

i say tt-01 cuz its prett fast already but i'll bet they will be about the same if not a BIG MAYBE on the yokomo to be ahead. both use like a 540 motor

I'm talking about a stronger aftermarket motor not the stock 540, maybe a brushless or something of the sort

maybe the drift kit cuz its lighter maybe. but depends on th motor

the drift kit is based on a racer, so i have to say yokomo

the only disadvantage is that parts for the Yokomo cant be found in your LHS. you have to order them.

that's not a problem the owners of my LHS are asses so I don't mind not giving them money :P

i think the price is better and i'd bet the tamiya would last longer.less broken parts+. many people have tamiya so you can have alot alot alot alot of help if something gos wrong
