Default products needed to start drifting thread

ok for all ya'll noobs or anybody who want to drift. these are the parts need to start drifting

ELECTRIC
1. drifting tires like pvc, abs, electrical tape, yokomo drifting tires.
2. any stock motor can go with it but a 27t motor is used often
3. ball bearing for those smooth drifts and increase of speed, acell, more.
4 a good battery like a 3000mah.(i use a venom batt.)
5. can upgrade your esc but stock can work fine. and your servos but stock is fine too.
6. time to fix and work on your car. your car will crash and you can't jus go to you lhs and say fix it.maybe you can
7.place a busy street wouldn't be the best idea. but you should get practice cones and go to a empty big parking lot
8.effort anf practice. if you can't drift keep trying. maybe somthing wrong with your car?? or maybe you need PRACTICE. people jus don't drift like professionals outof the box.
9. and a good drifting body, rx-7or 8, trueno, skyline, silvia, new mustang. any would be cool

Nitro
1. many people use pvc or abs too but your should get yokomos drifting tires. electrical tape can be used. when pvc or abs is used chances of melting your clutch or overheating your engine is increase dramaticly.
2. alot of nitro. you will burn alot of nitro while drifting since you going half throtle to full most of the time.
3. alot of tools and money. ok to fix and buy parts for. easy as that.
4.some people lock their diff. up to get a easy drift but you dont need to.
5. same as electric from step 6-9

dont get frustrated when you can't drift like the pros and you've try soo long. sum people were born to drift rc cars sum were not.

good luck!

ORIGINAL: skylingtr348

you need to lock your diffs.

not really its all dependant on the drivers driving style, as everybody will have a different setup but be able to drive it as good as the next person
