I just got a nitro 4tec and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it would make a good drift car and what i would need to make it a better one. what kind of tires front rear ect... any help would be great. thanks alot!

I also bought 8 abs drift tires...so i just throw those on all four wheels(not just the rear?) and go at it?

the abs works great on electric cars i dont know about nitro that would be crazy but hey give it a try you never know it might be great

acually abs isnt very good for nitro. (nor pvc). chances of damaging you engine will increase. its like picking up your car and running it(which is bad).

try yokomo drift tires

ahh, they break lose to easy huh? so i just need a slick tire with a lil bit of tread on it so they dont just spin like crazy? or could i tune the engine down and take it easy to get abs to work?

Just for future refrence...ABS tires are AMAZING! on a nitro car! the drifts i can do with my 4tec are insane!!! and u can drift with it anywhere smooth surface or not. i would def. go with ABS over slick rubber.


Heres a pic. Its right after i came back from driving it so its DIRTY!. looks kinda goofy with the drift rims and tires on there, they are a bit smaller than the street ones. and i made the body(my first one) but i think it came out alright. let me know what you guys think.
