PVC is fine for learing....its impossible to control, but ucan get the hang of it....u can build up speed an u go, jus walk it in so it takes off an play with the thottle once u get goin...u cant jus jump on it off the line, coz itll sit there spinnin

PVC is garbage, ABS is better and you can control it just like the guys in the SG vids with (lots) practice (some of those guys use ABS and the cars look pretty much under control to me

ive never tried ABS, coz i cant find any...so i cant comment...but for me PVC is fine, i have a ball
its not like the SG videos....but its still fun,im not out to win championships, im out to simply go sideways without stripping my diff/center gears
an PVC offes that to me
if anyway 1 still wants to send free ABS id be more then happy to accept it!

Don't forget if you use plastic tyres you need to generate maximum traction from suspension setup, that means:
0° camber all round
2-3° toe-in front and rear
Very soft front springs with slightly stiffer rears
30wt oil

alot of people cant find abs out here in sydney australia.
for anyone that has used both, what is abs like compared to pvc?
speed wise and slide wise?
its hard to pick up good speed on pvc.

pvc with tape wrapped around them seems to drift AWESOME!!!
put lots of tape on em!!
only downside is that if u are drifting on rough concrete it tends to shred the tape a bit.
smooth surfaces is great though!

I live in Australia and could not buy ABS so I caught this on EBAY and bought them. No problem with delivery and they are great! On advice from other RCers I locked both diffs on my TT-01 and away I went!

I have a Rear Locked Diff on my TT-01 and Love PVC.. Its Great on Concrete and smooth Asphault...Its Great for Technical Drift as You dont Need speed.. Just need to Practice control..
I wont Change from PVC, I also Use Drift Rubbers but they make the Car Bounce when Cornering, Good for Ultra Smooth Surfaces but the Slip to grip ratio of PVC is Just cooll.. Who Cares if it is White... Its Cheap and Gets you sliding..

Going to mount it tomorrow. I tried the electrical tape idea today, but I think I wrapped it too tight, and collapsed the center too much. Therefore, it had too much traction.
