I have seen a lot of posts about the Yokomo drift rings and such but has anyone tried this tire and how does it compare to ABS. The two things I don't like about ABS are that it is loud when you drive and that it is a little slow. Would this tire be any different?

It'll be like driving a gripper dude, why bother, the point about plastic tyres is maximum drift time/fun for minimal damage

believe it or not im actually using them with electrical tape on them!!! can u believe that?
im using yokomo "drift" tyres with tape on them...

they are a bloody joke! an expensive joke at that!

just get abs, it might be hard to find but its better in the long run...im gunna try and get some abs soon!

Thanks for the info, how much of a difference is there between the tires and tape?

dont get them they were my first drift tyers i ever got i thought they were sick until i got abs and now i know yokomo suck big time ABS the way to go

electrical tape seems pretty good though on those yokomo drift tyres but i guess electrical tape on any tyre is ok.

i tried electrical tape on pvc, its a little better than just pvc but still no where near as good as tape on rubber tyres.

If ya can't find ABS try using PE, it's thicker and harder to cut but wonderful to drift with
