new to rc drift, i just put the neon on my car(photos)

Default new to rc drift, i just put the neon on my car(photos)

hi i just got my first rc car about a week ago,its a traxxas 4tec, i live in mexico so they're kind of hard to get, but today i just put the lights on the body, which i dont like by the way but i´m waiting for a bmw m3 body that i ordered, hope to get in this weekend, so tell me what you think about the lights, and i'll post pictures of the m3 when i'm done painting and detailing it.

I'm looking for some white headlights and red taillights for my car at the moment. I'll post some pictures when I get it set up!!

i got the leds in a electronic's store, but i live in mexico, here are more lighted pics, also i´m posting the tailights pics that i just put today, this weekend i´ll be installins 2 more taillights on each side and 1 more headlight on each side, i'll post the pics when i´m done with it. tell me what you all think bout them

That's nice. It looks WAAAAAAAAAAAY better than my traxxas. But, I still use that thing as a nice basher body though. mmmmmmm basher.

Hey man can u give a little tutorial on how u did it because i wanted to buy my led and resistors from radioshack and put them in also, but where do u hook them up and all that?

you clear out the headlight place, stick your LED things onto it, put all the wirings and battery (if required) onto the roof, and vwala, there you have it.

OK so what do i do with the resistor? and if i dont want to stick a Battery in my car how else can i do it?

If you want a good light setup you can just plug into your battery wirering then go to www.maxxlights.com for a very nice set up for my T-Maxx 3.3 with front lights, tail lights, green bumper lights and 4 green rollbar lights (plastic bar ontop of the body) it only costed me $50, they will drain a battery tho hehe.

Well how would i plug it into the battery? i was thinking of getting LED from radioshack and a resistor for like 2 bucks.
