For the price, it's honestly not worth it. It's only a counter-steering assistant, and for 150 smackers, a big waste of money. It's really just a heli gyro but adapted for car circuitry, it's pretty cool to see, but with a little practice, you'll be able to countersteer appropriately without it.

Hell, depending on how much you practice, you'll be good in a few days. I picked it up after a few hours. At least enough to have fun with it. Still gotta work on my precision. I gotta cool video with the drift box if you wanna see it.

I'd like to c the video, and even tho its expensive i heard it works really really well from someone who got a chance to test one out, they already knew how to drift but they said the box was jus amazing they could drift all the way around 1 side of a basketball cout with the car sideways. im sure the price will go down soon.

whats the point of it though? sure it makes you look cool, but your doing all the work. you dont learn anything. with the money you spend...time it takes to get to you...install...and setup...you could be drifting as good or better than that thing could ever make you

Like these guys have been saying.. practice is all you need.
Take it slow for the first little bit. whip it around so you can get the feel for how the car kicks the tail out. then after awhile you'll know when it breaks traction and that's when you can catch the tail by countersteering.
you can also throw out a few corner dots to have something to aim for.
watch some rally videos to see how the drifting is done. pay attention to what the front wheels are doing in relation to the car.

whats happenin my RC buddies, i am new to this also i have a belt driven 4wd touring car n i hav just got my drift wheels and after hours of practice in the house, kitchen car park u name it. i aint the best but i am bloody good at it now. i was gonna buy the d-box also but for 89.99 i give it a miss... my tips 2 u would be a good motor & speed controller with some drift tyres. pending on ther surface sometimes u dont even need drift tyres.
