Hey guys,
I am interested in getting started in rc cars. I would like to do it as price efifciently as possible too, however I do not want junk.
I am going to get the tt-01d, my mind is set on that.
What upgrades does this need, and can I get them from tower hobbys?
These are the batteries, radio, and charger I have selected. Are they ok?

Yeah grab a peak charger. If you have acess to a soldering iron solder some deans on there and you should see some good run times out of those batts.

The only mod people really suggest for a TT-01D is an Aluminum driveshaft. The stock one is said to flex under high RPM's. Other than that, you dont really need anything except ABS or PVC tires... the stock car comes with most mods that people put on their drifter.

That charger you linked to is a trickle charger, get an auto peak charger, good makes are LRP, Novak, Mtroniks and the lower budget ones are real good
