I have an extra "stick" style controller. Will it be as easy to use for a drift car set up as a regular "car" type controller or does it just come down to personal preference???

In the UK sticks are 'normal' and just to prove the point look at what the current world champs use:
1:12th - sticks
1:10th touring - sticks
1:10th 2WD buggy - sticks
Masami - sticks

BTW, I prefer sticks for 1:12th but pistol for drifting and 1:8th buggy

OK, cool. So, It just depends on what the driver likes to use. That helps, cuz I really dont want to buy another controller. However, I assume that like every other hobby, I will probably end up buying more than one new controller. Does it matter what type electronics go into the car? I am not sure what i have. I know the reciever and other electronics are about 10 yrs old. Does the new stuf work faster and does drifting require certain speed controlls? Dave
