aye whats up this is big john aka gettin slide ways. yep as my boy marc has said i just started drifting today ghetto style. stock tt01 rims NO tires. 19t orion, novak esc, futaba s3003, and a 2400mah pack. she did pretty good i think on her maden voyage. tommarow we shall be doing more and gettin some pics and vids. any suggestions? i know i know my gear ratio may be off but i like its at a burnt down 58t spur and a giant 28t pinion. hehehe i like it, tommarow im prolly gonna move to a 22t and a new 58t. well thanks for looking and will have vids up SOON.

Go down to the Hardware Store, Buy some 50mm PVC , Cut it to the width of Your rims, Boil the PVC till its nice and Spongey and Whack it onto your RIMS!
Its a lot Cheaper then Drifting on Rims..
Your will wear out a Set of Rims which cost more then a Metre lenght of PVC!
1 Metre of PVC = 36 Drift tyres !

DONT RUN THE CAR WITHOUT TIRES! thats like trying to run 5 miles in the mountains without shoes or socks (trust me itll hurt bad)
just get 2inch PVC tube cut it so that it will fit on your rims. put PVC in hot water, put rims in refrigerator, wait about 5 min put tires on rims

You Nailed it Right on the Head " Extremely Good Bang for Bucks"
Not only that , Easy to work on, Covered Bevel and Spurs and can be Blinged up really well with an Extensive Range of Hop ups.
The TT-01 Is just so easy to Drift with, I have Tried the TB-02, pro 4, 4-Tech and TA-05 and whilst they are all really good Chassis, they just dont seem to offer the Driftability of the TT-01...
I suppose once you find a good chassis, you sorta stop looking for anything else..
I Drifted a Yokomo Drift kit, Didnt like it at all.. too light and too expensive and it wasnt as durable as the TT-01
No one Said you couldnt Drift on the rims, it just wasnt a cost effective way of drifting...
Your have the makings and potential of a good Street drifter, keep up the Vids and the good work..
Tip: Underground Carparks and Net ball Courts are Ideal to drift on, see if there is not a free to use Court in Your Neighbourhood..

is ur netball similar to tennis courts?and theres a couple parking lots around here but no carports that ur talkin about that arent full almost 24/7. but there are a couple regular parking lots around that get empty often. ill have to chek into it. my car drifts way better with the abs tires, hehe the rim only idea was because i had em laying there and i thought they were ugly as hell. and i didnt wanta waist tires on those rims. so might as well use em some how. well thanks for the compliments.
