Default locked diff in 4tec

does any one has a ut for locking a diff in a 4tec???

I'm gonna try to pack mine with heavy grease and see how that works.

If you want to lock them perminantly, then pack them with JB Weld.

Cram Playdough , Paper or Blu Tac into the Planetary Gears.. anything to Stop the Planataries from Spinning

I just pulled the diffs out of my 4-Tec and they weren't what I was expecting. There is no planetary gears or anything. It looks like a non-adjustable ball diff (if that is even possible). So I don't know what to do with then. I guess I will try the car on ABS without locked diffs and see how it does.

if its a ball diff i would think that theres some type of screw that goes through it.

Yea, thats what I though but there isn't


There might be some trick to it, but I haven't figured it out yet.

hey i am completely new to this. what do you mean by "locking the diff" and how is that beneficial to drifting?
