TC 3 is this a good deal to start
I am looking a used TC 3 for about $30.00. It needs a receiver, speed control and probably batteries. Is this a good deal and will this car drift well???? Ok, I went back and read my other post and was advised that a TT-01 is better for my needs. HOWEVER, for the $$$$ is this a deal for the TC3 ?????

TC3's an Excellent deal. Way more Tunable then a TT01 i believe. Very rugged car's.
Get an RPM Wide bumper for it, and you'll be set.

Look, I don't care what anyone says, the TC3 is so much better than a TT01 that it hurts, to even mention them in the same sentence is disrespectful
First off the TC3 is a proven world champion, secondly Associated have been making winning cars for decades now
Thirdly, us older rc dudes have always associated Tamiya with expensive breakable beginners toys - but that has changed in the last couple of years with their world champ car (their only one too )
Associated are synonymous with winning pro races
