hi i have a novak esc that i just took off my losi xxx-s, and i think its been having some over heating isues. my novak has been shutting itself off after 5 minutes of play because of over heating. do novaks have a thermal shut down on them. like when they get to hot they shut them selves off? well i was wondering if it was my gearing. i have a tt-01 and im using all the stock gears, and im using a trinity 19t motor, should i buy different gears? i really need some help.

The LRP Quantum is a Great ESC, Swapping to the 22T pinion will allow the motor to Rev out a Tad more yet still keep your Torque Range Nice for Drift..
Just Allows it to take a Little Torque load off the motor which Should cool things down a little..

You will need a Tamiya 22T pinion.. Tamiya Gears are Suited to the TT-01 as Tamiya Use a different method of Measurement to other companies

When your looking for a pinion for the Tamiya, make sure its 48 pitch (48P) METRIC. If it's not METRIC it wont work.
Robinson Racing sells pinions that are 48P metric.
