Ghetto Drifting Lesson 1..Object Drift
Find Any Object and Drift Around it...
Just to Prove I am not perfect I hit the Tool Box a few times..
The Distance between the tool box and the camera was approx 1 metre.. so as you will see I cut it a Bit close a few times..

The Supra is a 200mm Shell with Zero Offset Rims hence why they dont fill out the Guards and yes I raised the shell as the Surface is a little raise in the middle whewre they over lapped the Hot mix..

Nice car. That's a good way to practice. I've also found it helpful to chalk a circle on the ground and practice by drifting while staying on the line.
that was the most boring video I've ever watched though. lol.

do you guys ever do any track drifting? this is tricky but its great practice because its not all one way and some corners are longer or tighter than others. this gives you excellent experence at keeping a drift out of one corner all
the way to the next and when you get good at this, you will be able to drift around almost any object, like Magnats tool box, with your front bumper almost hitting(which is the objective of track drifting). it looks pretty impressive too.
On a track with the scale 1:1, you will notice how the good drifters are never more than a couple of feet from the wall unless they are transfering to another corner. as Crash Alot said, get some shoes or cones or whatever and set them up around 10-15 feet from eachother and try figure of 8s round them,
as you get better, gradualy move the shoes closer to each other. and try keep the nose of your car as close to the objects as you can. Happy drifting
