I do understand that the TT-01 is an extremely popular chassis due to its durability and cost, but I still don't believe that it's the international standard. The first RC drift cars, to my knowledge, were the Yokomo SSG, HPI Sprint/Sport2, and Tamiya TA-03F. Yokomo then took notice to the use of their chassis for drifting and soon started experimenting with their cars. With what they've gathered through R&D, they made the Drift Package.
I honestly believe that the Yokomo DP is the real international standard. Tamiya and HPI only recently followed suit with their drift-specific TT-01D, TA-03F Pro Drift Spec, HPI Nitro RS4 Stage-D conversion, and Sprint 2 Stage-D.
That's enough ranting from me. Mr. Magnat, you sir, are valued here far more than I am, so I will be the one to step down and leave RCU. You're the one regarded as the expert, and I'm just some random member. So, that being said, take your throne back, oh King of the Drifting Section of RCU.

I agree. Since the DP was the first DRIFT SPECIFIC chassis. and the tt01 jus came into place because of the affordability and the availibility of parts.
And about this who is smarter on this forum talk....SCRATCH THAT. No one is perfect. Everyone has somethin that they would like to hear from everyone(Even noobs......yea right) about "which is the best chassis" or" can this drift". Ive been a noob..... now look at me. Im helpin everyone every which way I can. Sometimes Im wrong, and thats where aReOhwhY and magnat come in. You both know your stuff. I know my stuff too. but like I said before " No one Is perfect"
