yokomo sucks, i have a good mind not to buy any of their products.
I live in southafrica and the local yokomo distributor wont import any parts, just the cars. what a waste!!!!!
i even wrote to yokomo worldwide and they havnt even answered back. **** product!!!!!

oh yea and to top it all off, no place in the usa will ship to me!!!

have you looked on ebay?
one of the main reason's for most place's not shipping to africa is i am afraid to say but the country is unstable in places.
the risk of the mail going missing is far to great and this increases the insurance risk to the sender.
also i causes problems for the buyer as the have to wait for so long for shipment to arrive.
i would say that if you emailed yokomo and told them your problem they would be more than happy to help.

i have been in contact with a company in the uk called CML Distribution.
i told them a little lie that you was my cousin.
anyway i told them you have a yokomo car but you cant get parts shipped to south africa (this is where it gets good),
and lad called jason said if you email him on [email protected] make sure you say that you live in south africa but you cant get parts he will help you out.
can you please let me know how you get on with this dude.

sup infernox.. Team D10 is in south africa.. odyssey and a few other members have yokomos and I'm sure they don't have problems getting parts. I think there near capetown.. but I'm not for certain. These guys are serious about drifting, check out there vids!!! Just search Team D10.. if u can't find it message me. peace

I totally agree with him. Yoks are a pain. GREAT cars. Just a huge pain. I wish I had gotten a Tamiya..oh well.

yokes are overpriced imo i think you could have a way sicker car for much less outta tl01,tt01's or any tamiya!!! i just recently bought an old ta02 full option for $150 and it runs perfect for drift

i got a tt-01 and very happy, but yokomo makes cool detail products which i want, coz my car is a showcar. oh yea rct, thanx you are a saint, and just for the records, africa loses no mail, coz it comes straight to sa, i have no probs with my amazon orders....

oh yea, im in joburg and capetown is big, i have been looking for d10 but they not online.

seriously, yokomo hasnt even answered my emails, that sez its a bad company. my friend wanted to buy one but i advised him to go tt-01, which is 100000 times better in any case.

No doubt, Yok makes GREAT bodies (albeit overpriced). And even if I DO find a TTL01 or TT01 chasis to buy, I'll still keep with mostly Yok bodies. But their chasis are just as expensive and much more hasstle to work on.

can't wait to get mine.. should be here anyday!! I was gonna get a tt-01 but got a yokomo full graphite chassis for cheaper then what it would of cost me to hop-up a tt-01. Which wouldn't be as good of a car as a yokomo. As for parts a guy on ebay not to far from where I live carries tons of parts.. just my luck I guess
