ABS works better. Everyone will tell you you should get an aluminum drive shaft and bearings. I think oil filled dampers are a must for drifting.

You can Drift pretty good on the Friction Dampers, Oil Filleds are alot better but are not a 100% Essential thing to get sliding, The Alloy Prop Shaft and Bearings are though..

u don't NEED anything except pvc/abs tyres and an ESC (electronic speed controller). this is all i've got and mine drifts perfectly - sure it could prob be improved with hop-ups like shocks, ally prop shaft and bearings, but as far as what you NEED, just abs and ESC.

oh and some bad ass batteries lol

Alloy Prop Shaft and Bearings are Cost Saving Devices, the Stock Plastic Items Wear out rapidly and lets just say Prevention is Better then Cure..

Its Not Nice to replace a Whole Axle because a Bearing has seized and melted it solid..

The Alloy Prop Shaft doesnt Flex and wont snap like the plastic one, it allows more Torque and power to be applied to the wheels so you get the Power down faster

abs is basically black pvc piping, some different chemicals in it here and there, but it's the same thing.
it cost about the same as pvc piping, check home depot, ace, etc.

get the bearing!.. my friend had the copper things they put in the box and they seized like magnat said, and the shaft, you will find the more you use it the more you want to do hop-ups because then you understand how the different things help the car!
