Default Change in direction.

Hey guys haven't been into the rc scene in along time and
I used to be in the off road thing but that cost to much.

anyway I wanted to start up rc again.
and since i already do it with my 240sx if you haven't noticed from the name.
i thought i would do drifting.

I was looking at the at the TT01D but i don't know much about rc drifting.

1. so do i need RWD or 4WD I noticed that the TT01D came 4WD so i am confused??
2. does it matter kinda tires i have. ( just looking to do it in the drive way or at the
b-ball court.

my price range is small right now so around $250 to spend. any help is welcomed.

4Wd drive is the drift standard. Rear is a difficult task. So the tt01d will be a great buy. and tires(I got this one yal): Yokomo Zero one R Wide drift ring version, HPI STAGE D's, ABS PVC. Im gonna try tamiyas slicks, I was readin them on their site. and says that they are good for drifting. But others will probably doubt me. Any Other help. PM me or magnat, or aReOhwhY. We all know a lot. there are others out there too.

Just go to Home Depot and look for 2 inch inner diamter ABS pipe. Then cut it into 1 inch wide rings. Then again I can sell you some, with rolled edges.

OK I was thinking they had to do with PVC pipe. I think i will go with the Yokomo Zero tires.

as for that is this a good starting drift setup?

anything i need to know about suspension, motor, or anything else?

motor and esc's. I would get a Limitless ESC. That way you can put any motor you desire in it. from 27x2 to 17x2 motors. and if you plan to do anything else wit the car. a limitless ESC would be good that way too.
