I have a nitro rs4 with an 18cv-r and i am tring to get into drifting. so I bought the drift box thing and now I am a professional this box takes all of the skill out of it but I have been turning the sesitivity down further and further and now I am decent soon I will take the box all the way off once i have mastered it my question is do you guy's think I suck for getting this litlte box. Does any body else have it , and do you think that $150 is too much for drift lessons

For a Nitro I can understand why you got it but if anyone bought one for an Electric I would have to giggle myself stupid..

perhaps you can still return it and get a refund or store credit. the best training aid is probably practice and the least grippy tire substitutions you can find. if you use ABS, then get some PVC to train with. learning to control your car under really hard conditions will make drifting with friends and infront of others with more grippy tires a breeze. of course this is just what i think, training in harder conditions than you would encounter in the real world will give you better results than just training in the same conditions.

If You start on the Hardest possible Compund like PVC and Learn to control it you will be far better off.
That, is the only way to learn..

I started out on PVC then moved to ABS..

guys, hes nitro drifting, and ive used PVC and ABS tires, and it doesnt work to well. I reccomend getting the Hpi drift tires. htye last for a long long time, and are are nearly perfect for nitro drifting.
