Here is mine, it was not done in these pics but you get the point. TT01 with alum. shaft and bearings, I also left some extra lexan down at the bottom to create a pretty aggressive front lip.

I'll post more pics later.

That BMW is really sexy. I love the e30's some of the best design ever out of BMW. I had a 92' black on black on black e30 convertible when I was in high school.

You can find just the shell, just get the part numbers and go to your LHS and they can order it. And yes the E30 is amazing, I am a big time BMW enthusiast, I have owned many of them and had a E36 M3 and have a E46 M3 but have not owned a E30 M3....yet.

Here some more pics of my nitro rs4. I added some detail to it: Mirrors, wipers, light buckets, an adjustable wing(my favorite) and my self fabricated(not yet tested or finished roof scoop). I am still not sure how to make cooling for the engine without cutting huge holes in the front and back windows. I am thinking that i will fabricate some deflector-vents instead of small rear side windows or i will still have to cut huge holes but i will make them look like the window got cracked from a crash and maybe even put some red on the sharp edges to look like... you know what [8D][:-]

Here it is:

This is my frist 1:10 RC and basically the first time getting into this hobby. Recently just finished painting the shell... tinted the windows and leaving the lights blank for later mod with LEDs. any comments are welcomed.

you can just get a can of smoke paint by tamiya.... thats what i did.. fairly simple... and it appears that u can never do too many coats of it.. i did 3 coats of it.. but hardly notice any different between 2 to 3... and i really like that effect... at certain angle it appears almost clear.. but at some angles it appears almost completely black.. i smoked the "rear bonnet' so it appears almost like a tinted window over the engine compartment.... u have to look at it closely to see the difference.. but i like this subtleness... i havent really taken it outside under the sun to see how it looks like cuz i have been having crappy weather these few days.
I am still waiting to get my LED kit together to see how that looks behind the smoked rear light housing.

as for the lotus shell.. i thought it fit pretty well... its my first time doing this.... so i was pretty much guessing where to drill the holes for the body post... but it seems ok... i am a bit of a perfectiionist in some sense.. so i would not say that its a perfect fit... (ie the wheels do not exactly lined up with the body... at least thts what i feel) but it was a pretty good fit... not very noticable if u dont start bringing out the ruler...

thanks fugadude.
