RE: POST A PIC OF YOUR DRIFTER THREAD!!!!!!!!!
Hi every1! this is my second post on this site so I am very new here. plz be kind to me[&o]
I am really sorry about posting this in this thread but I am in need of good information about RC drift cars.
I am looking for a new R/C car (my very first proffesional) and I was thinking about drifters because I think its the coolest. I have been searching around in many sites about Drift-cars and many recomended electric cars because they are easier to handle and they said if you want it any faster you can buy like stuff to it like ballbearings or stuff like that.
The brand almost everyone said was best is the Tamiya and the model TT-01 Drift spec. now I want you to tell me if that is true and i want some suggestions and tips of wich one to buy. and it has to be electric...

Well, while there are definitly much better drift cars out there, the Tamiya TT-01 lineup is probably the best place to get started. I got the TT-01R because I didn't really like any of the shells that came with the D-Spec so I got the TT-01R and my own body, but the Drift-spec kit has just about everything you need to get going. Only thing is you may want to either make your own or ebay some ABS drift tires cause I've heard the Tamiya drift tires are far from spectacular. But if your just getting into the hobby and want a cheap way in and still have hours of fun at a time, go for the TT-01 Drift Spec. kit for sure !!
