WOW! Theres some amazing cars on here. I just got into drifting. I had a smartech car with a blown engine, so i ripped it out and put my rustler diff into it. I swapped a few parts and now its super fun to drive! I tried making a new thread earlier to post pictures and stuff, but i got timed out...

It started out as a TC4 but i had to extend the chassis so I could use the Charger body. I think It's a pretty good General Lee. The interior took some time, I wanted to do a better job on it but i used the resources I had on hand.</p>

Just picked this up about a week ago - HPI Pro-D. It's in great shape but missing the center spur gear assembly. I have one on the way from Hong Kong, but it's a looooong trip and I've been waiting a minute or two. Motor is an HPI Flux 5700 system, my first experience with brushless.
I have some LP32 and LP35 wheels and tires on the way, along with an HPI Aero Supra. Tomorrow I'm off to buy paint - I'll probably get gold, white, and silver, and see what happens.

Your going to love the switch to brushless, it's worry free fun. The next move would be to jump over to lipos if you haven't done so already. That's another experience in itself. One great advantage is the LONG run times over nimh's. Good luck let me know what you think of the Pro D.

Heres my sexy370z Yukesand Skyline shoot. These cars both sit on df03ra brushless 9t and 8.5t chasis. I then proceeded to brake the front fender off the z hitting the same wall that appears in the shoot. Forgot to shoegoo for reinforcement.

Well to help you with the switch when your ready.........Listed below are two websites. One for the lipo's and charger and the other for a small power supply for the charger.
Lipos: $14.51 http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store...idproduct=9172
Charger: $32.79 http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store...dProduct=10707
Power Supply: $34.95 http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id...5&pid=B3615199
With 2 lipos, charger and power supply I think you'll spend about $140 including shipping.
The US warehouse has the lipos but not the charger. So your first order will have to be from Hong Kong where you'll pay the $32 for there EMS shipping. But all other battery purchases can be made from there US warehouse. The same lipos here are $17.33 and shipping for 2 is only $8.90.

Here's my drifter
TT01E
Tamiya stock tx/rx, ballbearing'd everything, EZRun 60A ESC, EZRun 13T 3000Kv motor, Tamiya Tuned Sports springs on stock shocks, locked rear diff. Big ass steel nuts for balancing left/right taped to the battery strap, haha.
I'm using Mystery 2800 2S Li-Pos atm, probably get some of their 5000s later on as these ones seem good and are cheap, even though I get around half an hour of drifting on the 2800s. Got an iMax B6 charger.
I've been using standard rubber grip tyres for messing around doing so mega high speed drifts on the big car park near here. Then I moved from electrical tape to some cheapo ebay drift tyres which are ok, not nearly enough grip though
Gonna get t-drifts at some point as I reckon they'll suit my style more. i like to get a lot of speed up for the hairpins. Be nice to be able to hold speed through the transitions too without straightening out a little.
P.s. Yup that Yukes 370 is awesome, are those the Syms GBD Impreza decals? They look great!
Like that R34 a lot too, didn't think the GTRs had the GT sticker on the side though? Smart colour
I'm wrecking my body pretty good at the moment so I'll hold off on getting my S15 shell for it for a while
This is off my old TGS
