Don't worry mate, you'll get it.
I practiced for an hour and loved it.
Here is what is a pic of my track. I have a small yard so my drifts have to be precise:

As you can see by my avatar I came over from the RC tank forum. Driving my 300 pound Tiger tank is way different. No doubt sooner or later (later) I'll get it. Cool Track psychorevo. I have 8'x30' of open conrete along my house. Maybe I should practice there.

Once you get it DAP, it'll be so awesome. I bought those Losi track dots and you can really make a track anywhere. Drifting is so awesome because you really don't need that much room at all.
BTW, sweeeeeeeeet tank. I always marvelled at those awesome things.
You'd be an RC God if you made a tank drift. LOL.

I think you will see a definite improvement with abs on all four corners. let me guess, every time you tried to slide, it came around on you.

Those track dots are honestly a little expensive. Go to any local sporting store, and they wiill definetly sell very similar "disks" for quite a bit cheeper.

Actually, the track dots are only $5 for 12 of them. Let me tell you, they are awesome. Here is one on ebay:

You can get them anywhere for $5 or cheaper. Google it and you could even find some for under $4.

Yes.. All 4 Wheels need to be Piped..
You have to think of it as this way.. Your essentially making an AWD into a 80/40 Split AWD when you only pipe the rears..
All Tyres must be Equal to achieve the perfect slide...
Practice is good if you have an Idea or a method from the beginning...
Sounds like you had fun and thats the main thing...

How big of area do you need to drift? We kinda have a 16 ft X 20 ft space. Will that work?
Thanks

I found several colors of wet suit material at work. I cut them into 6" dia. circles. The rubber back hold them in place and since their thin the car will go over them intead of pushing them around. For free its pretty good. Now, if i just could learn to drift......
