I'm here in adelaide. Just getting in to drifting. I wanted something that was a bit slower and less likely to break than all my other RC's.
I've been playing down at HH every now and then. Prb once a week or so. Now my mate has just bought one too so will be getting in to it a bit more..

I think he means the HobbyHabit on Daws Rd. They have 2 tracks out the back, 1x sealed, 1x dirt.
Look it up, could be a laugh!
I have a HSP 'flying fish' AE86. Jaycar sells them! Now you can tell the hobby guys you DIDN'T buy it off Ebay, then tell them to go check.
I just mess around with mine, nothing serious at all.<font color="#000000"> I bought a 'Team Orion Method R Modified 15turn double wound' motor off Ebay for AU$6 and replaced the brass wheel bearing bushes with proper bearings. NOW it's fun to drive.

Yeah the Method R 15X2T is a great motor, I use one when I want to do Tennis court long drifts...(As in the width of the Tennis court not the length although if I had a big enough area it would be possible)
I am not too keen on the HSP gear, I mean parts are not as easy to access as a TT-01....

It's my first electric (I started with nitro) so I didn't want to spent much to begin with. Yeah the parts are hard to find but they are dirt cheap when you do.

Nope and the cops could not care less. I found a Mazda3 'stuck' to the side of mine with the keys still in it. When I asked if there was a reported break-in at the owners place they said no. I said it sounds like fraud then! They reckon they got no fingerprints off the stolen car and didn't want to dust my car either. BS! There was no dusting! When I asked what now, they said they will do nothing unless I can positively identify the thieves. W.T.F.! When I enquired about 'victims of crime' they said no. Does not apply to property yet if I can prove I'm a nut-job I could possibly get 50K!!
SAPOL- F#@kin' children with guns! Unless they can charge, arrest, or shoot you, they don't want to know.
Apologies all, rant over. Back onto Ebay looking for parts...

I just ordered a hpi e10 rx7 from America. All up $210 AUSD. Buying here ($350) is sooo much dearer shame really, I'm all for supporting the LHS but with those prices...... And if anyone knows any upcoming drift meets at the hobby habbit on daws road fill me in!

Yeah the E10's are not worth what they charge down here.. which makes the TT-01 a better Value for money drifter..
for the $350 the TT-01 XB Pro can be achieved but that still wont include a decent charger or Battery...
Get some Pics up when it hits your door..

I will. But I also included a peak charger and 4200mah battery, even with the shipping and exchange rate included it only reached $318 AUSD so I ended up saving money AND getting extras =)
Also anyone got any place where you can get those LEDs that you put on the inside of the car to give the underside neon effect?
