I am a newb too....but from what I have read, you want to keep as much weight towards the front as possible. It appears that the pack and other heavy items are towards the rear. I am sure other more experienced people will chime in.
Good luck...I am looking to pull the trigger on a newb drifter too.

It is Rear wheel drive so it won't drift get a 4 wheel drive like a TT-01..............Plus thats a kit without radio and electrics

ok thanx i was lookin at the tt-01 cause it was cheaper and yes i want it to be a kit iv never done one and by the time i get all the money for the electronics ill have the kit done so this will be a good drifter http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDYC4&P=M and what motor esc would yall recomend??

Yah, that a good car, same car i started driftin with but then i sold it
It will drift fine with the stick motor.
The MSC that comes with it will eventually need to be changes to a ESC unit ill get you a link
Just put some ABS on thr tires and slide it
Get 50mm internal ABS it shoud fit the rims with a little heat
