Hey guys, thanks for all your help when I was looking at getting into Drifiting. I really appreciate all the advice and help you guys gave.
So, I would like to display the fruits of "our" labor......my new TC4 Drifter. This is only the car, not the body. The new BMW M3 GT 190mm body arrived today, so I have not had a chance to paint it.
I installed a 5700 Mamba MAX BL motor system in the car and will run 4200 IB cell, and eventually 6000mAh Lipo pack. Should be nice!!!
I have installed HPI Drift tires/wheels for the short term until my RCDrift ABS wheels arrive. I plan on mounting the ABS tires on HPI 6mm TE37 wheels (either black or chrome, I have both)
Enjoy and thank you!!!!!

You have enough power in that beasty to use the HPI tyres like brushed people use ABS
A video please when you've done the body
Nice chassis.

Thanks...
Do you think that the ABS tires will be too slick? I do really like the HPI version, but they are pretty expensive.
there IS a night and day difference between Micro Drifting and 10th Scale Drifting AND there is a Night and day difference between pvc and the HPI tires.
The 10th scale with the hpi is soooo much nicer!

That is a problem. You need something more like E tape, cheap, but with the durability between the HPI's and ABS. Someone thought about using heatshrink, but it was hard to get such large/think heatshrink, but they found it eventually. Look for the cheapest drift radials you can find.

You mean something like this:

or

The 2nd one is the verision that is mounted the wheels that I am using. Any difference in drifting between the treaded one and the slick version?

I understand......its not needed, but its what I hade laying around for a motor/esc solution.
I actually think I might have a 540 motor (trinity of some sort) in a box somewhere....and an ESC. If I can find em, I might put them in to see how it goes and then decide on what one I like better.
