pvc pipe is needed or abs because it makes it slippery and loses grip to the rc car which makes it slide i would prefer ABS because of the black color and it gives you a little more grip then pvc. Just make sure you have a cooling system such as a fan for your engine because nitro and electric can drift but nitro , you guys have to worry about your engine overheating.

Okay. Well, you got a nice chassis to start with so that's good (I have a TC4). You'll hear a lot about ABS and PVC pipe. They're simply pipe materials. R/C drifters have began to use them as tires by simply cutting the diameter needed. They both work about the same and the one people use usually depends on the area they live. My suggestion is that if you don't have any pipe cutting materials, buy some pre-made tires.

when did he say he had nitro? but yea you would want abs or pvc, abs preferably because u get better grip. ur gonna need new rims to put them on too. and wen u put them on you dont need glue just wrap electrical tape aroudn teh rim a couple times then slip the abs over. it should be a snug fit. no heating needed

Well i refered that he might have a nitro because he never said anything about his type of rc (electric or nitro). Im just saying people who might have TC3 sometime usually are nitro.

not really. people who have just bought tc3 have nitro because the electric one is discontinued but who told u about fans need on nitro because of overheating engines. i have not heard anythign about that. and i have asked two nitro drifters who also have never heard of using a fan. and where woudl u put that fan. if you were to use one???
