I would NOT recommend this setup for normal drifting. I am running a Mamba Max system, which I love, but the ABS tires are a bit too slick. I would compare it to my 18th Scale drifting using PVC as tires.
dont get me wrong, it is fun...but it is very slick. I will post some video soon...so you can see what I am referring to.
Anyone have any comments to add, whether good or bad, it does not matter. I just want some people who are looking at setups to see this, and maybe answer some questions on what they should purchase.

UPDATE:
I installed the HPI Drift tires/wheels set that I have on the TC4, and ran it last night. There is a SIGNIFICANT (and that is stressed) difference between the ABS and HPI Drift tires. The Drift tire provides much more bite/grip, so much that now I am not sure what version I like the best.
IMO, Pros and cons of each (using BL setup)
ABS:
Pro - EASY to drift, VERY cheap, pretty durable, can be removed from wheel and replaced.
Con - very slick
HPI Drift Tires:
Pro - More bite/not as slick, can drive faster with more control, scale look with treads
Con - Expensive, not replaceable
In looking at my list, I think overall, for me, I will stick with the ABS. Remember, Drifting is not necessarily a sport of driving fast but a sport of driving sideways!!
Another thing with the ABS, is that using the mamba max 5700 setup, I am only having to put about 20% throttle, if that to get a drift going, therefore this should increase my runtimes even more! The HPI Drift tires require more trottle.
Anyone have any experience they would like to add or disagree with my comments?
