Could a person just lock the back and not the front if you wanted to, and would it be worth while doing it from word go on the original build, I am going to be doing my first proper build soon, and is it very hard to do it, is it also bad for the car at all?

ok stop stop stop
visit this site

and do this to both diffs, try not to use the lube like i did in the video, then see how the car drifts.
using nitro tubing 2-3mm long pieces.

I would tighten a lot,

Rather then lock, it gives it a LSD affect!

Locking tt-01 diffs are the easiest to do. (stock ones that is) what I did with mine was, before I built the diff I stuffed it w/ clay. Its reverseble, but messy if you don't want it locked anymore. W/ my tt-01 I tried getting sideways w/ a stock built diff then I tried again w/ the locked diff. It was much easier to break the back end loose with it locked, and its easier to have it stay sideways. A little more contralable also... Hope this helped. If not, then oh well.
