uhm i am using 27 turn and its to slow for drifting wat motor should i get? i was thinking a 12 turn.

A stock motor is good for drifting because of the torque. If you want more speed get a 19t maybe. I think drifting with a 12t coming from a stock will be very difficult.

wow, I think 27t pro stock motor is powerful for drifting. I have the CO27 pro stock motor from Trinity. Try that out.

i have that and im using 4200 promatch

if u want a 12t get a double or tripple. any 19t will be fine a decent cheap one is the venom 19t x2 its only about 35 bux aus

trinity 27t p2k copperhead pro is tight man tonnes of torq and its got speed too i almost have to slow down to drift lol

If you want fast drifting and u have large space to run it in(no to mention smooth) u can probally get a 16t double or triple,

Make sure they have bearings,

But also remember that ur run times will also decrease with the new motor,

also what tires are u using?

i used my tc4 as a drift car for a while. it drifted great but i put it back to what it was made for, which is a touring car. i got a tt01 and built it as a drifter. it works well. not as as much adjustablity as the tc4 but all you really need is a locked rear diff and abs tires and ur set. a good motor would help. ive used a trinity co27 27t motor converted to ball bearings and it has plenty of power and long run times cause its not a modified. practice makes perfect my friend.... thats just my 2 cents....

got myself a tc4 had a novak ss bl and orion 4800 good for about an hour straight of drifting .... upgrades esc to gtb now motor and esc are running cool

I used a Team Orion Method R 15x2T in my Sprint 2.. Offers good top end but still responsive enough to do technical Slides..

I am gonna try the 19x2T in the same Series and see how it goes..

All the colors just gave me a headache. j/k. Aaaaaaaaanywho, a 27t motor is fine for drifting. I started with a 35t. 12t is gonna shoot you into oblvion somewhere if you don't take baby steps first. That's a 15 turn difference. That's like going from a Civic EX to a stock Viper in like a day.

Anywhere from 19t-35t will get you sideways. It all depends what you're comfortable with. Another option is brushless. Novak SS5800 is nice from what I've heard. But, you can save money by keeping what you got.

also you can get a Brushless and tune it down a bit for slidin and up for racing if you do both!
