Default Nitro engine fails

Hi there,

i have received my nitro gas RC car, i started the engine and ran like 2 tanks of gas already, and the last tank the gas ran out so the car stop. after a while i was going to run my 3th tank cause I'm breaking in the engine and the car won't start, i check the Glow plug ignitor it is fully charged, i see that there is fuel in the line and also in the tank, what could be the prob that the engine won't start ??, how can i check if the glow plug work great ??

Thanks

my guess would be a bad glow plug.

take it out, and put it on the glow plug ingniter. if it glows, then its good. if it is weak or doesnt glow, replace it.

and also my screen name stands for Suzuki Swift GTI Turbo, thats my 1:1 car i drive... love boost so i was also wondering if there is anyway we can boost these little engine

my engine is a .16 CXP VERTEX by the way.

they make superchargers for nitro engines, and you can use pretty much any glow plug, it just depends on the engine

re how to boost the power to ur engine u can increase the nitro % in ur fuel.
summit like 20-30% nitro mix, but be warned the higher the % nitro the hotter the engine gets and the shorter the life of the piston and liner.

dude...

dont buy a upercharger!!.. it is a fact they make the engine run leaner, the mid tank lean plus a supercharge will fry ANY .16 engine, i know ive had plenty, also a super charger is not good for some one who does not fuly understand the main features of tuning,
i would stay well clear..

as rct mentioned a higher % nitro, but get nothing with over 8% oil, this will give you a false reading as the oil will submit and show a trail of smoke even when lean, 8% and above is a waste, i would go 25% but a cooler plug, also back to factory settings and start a fresh with running the engine in with new fuel..

hope this helps!!..

o.s 18 is nice, the wasp 12 revsis like a right little devil, great for drifting and also the orion screams at 41,000rpm!!!!!!!!

that is the way i would be going, A5 are good plugs and good in most weathers, i would only ever.. if i had to, lol, put one on a big block, 28+ engine!!

towers is good, check them out, there are like a million sites, typer in google...lol

puting any kind of forced induction on a two stroke engine is pointless, any boost going in the engine get's blown strait back out because the intake and exhaust port are open at the same time, and the exhaust port always closes last, although i have been thinking about puting one of them little superchargers on a nitro 4 stroke for a while.
