A good brushless system with 3 cell lipos is really quick

im a nitro guy myself. but after drifting with electric. thats deff the way to go. speed has nothing to do with drifting.

Nitro= Speed (not always, but RTR it does)
Electric= Great Drifter

they're both fast. just depends on what you wanna do and spend. OUt of the box, I'd say nitro has more top end speed. But if you get into tuning them, the possibilities are almost limitless on either.

Since this is a drifting forum, it's all about style NOT speed.

um but if u wana go fast and u have tons of money and u want to get the fastest possible eletric BUT and its not as loud as when ur going fast on a nitro at hight rpm it gets kinda annoying

good luck trying to "drift race" around a small tight technical track with a nitro car.

electric is faster, but you have to put some cash in to make it faster. My mamba max tc4 can outrun many gas cars down the straightaway of a track

yep drifting isnt all about speed like said above.
as for faster it all depends on the car and driver,most of the records are held by elecy but most standard nitros beat standard electric models.
i prefer electric cos of the no mess and setting up the engine etc i just wanna charge n drift [8D]

i both have gas and eletric and its alot harder to set up gas when for eletric u charge and ur ready to go : / starting the motor for my gas is a pain in the butt becuase its kinda old (5 years i think More)
and i never use it becuase eletric is alot beter .. and more efficient

What do you think makes electricity? There is still pollution being created, it just isn't seen while you are playing with it. Whether or not it is less pollution is up for debate, I would probably lean towards yes.

He Who crosses the Line first Gets Bonus Points but If they dont get the Tail out, the Loser can end up winning..

i ran my mamba max tc4 on 12 cells yesterday, i'll be dammed if there is a nitro car that is faster. it may be out there but they are few and far between. I'm guessing the sunnuva ***** was doing 75 mph down my street.

Drift racing is another way people found to combine two really cool things (drifting and racing) and make it UBER GHEY!!!! Ironically, drifting started from racing. Drifting was a faster way to take a corner. However, racing and doing STYLE drifts is rather pointless and of the utmost ghey...no offense to those who do it. I mean, if you like it, then well...you know...you like it. More powa to ya.

Its a Way of Converting those who are Hard core Grippers into Sliders.. Works a Treat..

Your sort of taking the Elements of Both and weening those who like Race into the world of Drift..

Before too long they are getting into Drift Battles..
