Default Tires

If I wan induce oversteer to drift. Should I use soft tires in the front and hard tires in the back? And which tire material has more grip: Foam or sponge? Or are they jsut the same thing.

get drift tires. the racing physics rp-d's are awesome drift tires. ABS also works and so do the yokomo and hpi drift tires.

For a Newb I wouldn't suggest drift tires, because until you can get good reactin time, and be able to drift good, you are going to go pretty fast when you drift. Use ABS pipe until you get better.
