nitro drifting becomes very exspensive... the cost of nitro and tires will be alot..if you get an electric you wont be spending as much or eating thru tires...i drift a hpi sprint2 and it works great..the onli mods i have done is the diff case mods and got a better battery and drift tires and it drifts great. and if the nitro is a 2 speed its hard on the trans to take the abuse of drifting...just somethings to think about

There is no ''best car''. The best car for you would be what you can afford, and what you perfer.

no upgrade just cut out the diff casing in order to let rocks and dirt pass thru without it getting stuff in the diff chewing up belts.. you have to take the car apart to do it it takes about 20 mins to do each one...i onli modded the rear and have seen no signs of wear on the front belt so i didnt bother to do it..ive had the car about 8 months now and have onli need to change one rear belt b4 i did the mod. since i modded the rear i havent had another problem since.

Very true - I was drifting my Colt 10 years ago and then went to my TC3 and now TT-01. All comes down to is what do you like. It can be nitro or electric but most prefer electric.

I have a Sprint 2 (non-drift version) with the Nosram Tornado, it have been good to me. But now I am going to put in a Yokomo 19t Drift motor in it.
