ive been running with nitro stadium trucks for some time now and i noticed some vids of drifting rc cars. now iam looking into starting that and i was wondering what is a decent start of a drift car thats under the budget of about $120 nowadays.
also i was looking at some chassis and i noticed that some chassis have the battery going sideways(horizontal to the car) and some have then going parallel to the car. does that make a huge difference in drifting?
thanks

think the tl-01 battery goes sideways in
and the tt01 goes down one side
ive drifted both and didnt notice a difference really on the tto1 the motor levels out the battery[8D]

this is my thought...
Battery sit parallel to the dog bones won't make the car balance cuz the motor sit on one side will affect the car while drift left or right( unless motor is one side and esc+receiver on 1 side)
Battery sit parallel to the belt( or shaft) will balance out the car. that means motor+ esc+reciever one 1 side and battery on the other side.
I dun think both situations will affect your drift though, but since u want to know detail different so yeah...
Correct me if im wrong pls
