hey can anyone help me. i dont know much about RC cars and im onli 14. i had my motor for just over a month and my brushes are all burnt? what does that mean?

One Clean up the motor.
Second it's time to get some new brushes.
Third it is over heating...

These are just "possibilities"

the motor is almost brand new and i do think i have to get new brushes thats all?

Yeah, [sm=idea.gif] Try a heat sink too, it could be over heating. Also clean out the motor.
I might be able to help you out even more, if you tell me how many turns it is...

its a 23turn and i have put a heat sink on it.

Well it might be that since you are getting better at drifting if is heating up from you flooring it around those corners to make it drift, so how good are you at drifting ( I'm asking to suggest a more capable motor.)

If you want to not buy a new motor here are things to cool it down Heat sink, Larger Spur Gear, Less traction tires (like ABS), heat sink with fan!(heres a image)

that was my new motor and i did put a new spur gear on it, i think i put a 53t on it. maybe i should get some abs tyres, at the moment im using drifting tyres because my dad bought dem for me and i have to use it.

So just get a larger tooth spur gear but not to large, and a heat sink, with some new brushes, Then you'll be alright...

ill just change the brushes and get some abs tyres and ill see if it works fanx for the help
