What size is the 12T? Is it a 550 or 540 size? I think the Novak Rooster can down down through 12T on a 540, and it can handle Lipo if you decide to go that route in the future. I think it is about $75 on Tower Hobbies. There are a whole bunch of ESCs that cost about $50 that can handle down to a 15 turn motor. Novak XRS, MC330 [I think that is the name], and the XL-5 to name a few.

Hmmm, well if you are willing to spend the $, the Rooster looks like a match.

EDIT: Oops, my fault. I thought it was $75. It is $85 on Tower. Still a good ESC.
