Default Question about Drifting

I have a 12 turn motor in my HPI Rs4 Sport i know that is way too fast for drifting but cant i reduce the speed using the radio or the speed controller to drifting speeds without buying a 19turn motor?

u could change the gearing but it would be cheaper just to but a stock. a stock motor cost 20

i would go 19t spec motor (checkpoint money and trinity k dragon are both good choices) or a novak 8.5 or 10.5 brushless
