Default Comments on an RC Car I've Found

Hey...

Another noob making another nooby topic. wow.

I've found a car that's really good looking, it's got the light kit, it's a Nissan Skyline thing. Since we can't post a link to it since it's an online auction, here s the details of it:

-Nissan GT-R Z-tune skyline
-Based on the real z-tune street car
-2 540 motors
-locked diff for drifting
-speedi drift wheels
-Stock nismo rims and tyres
-Futaba T2PHKA transmitter
-Sanwa SRM 102 steering servo
-TEU-101 BK tamiya electronic speed contoller
-alluminum drive shaft (hop up)
-L.E.D front and rear lights
-Pro-Star 7.2volt Ni-Cad fast charger
-Tamiya RC1400SP 7.2 volt racing pack
-assorted spare parts
-instructions etc

High quality polycarbonate body realistically depicts the ultimate road car GT-R Z-tune
4WD shaft driven bathtub chassis with coil spring damped, 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and sealed front and rear differential gearbox
New plastic parts to reproduce wing, side mirrors, headlight case and tail-light case. Kit includes 4 LED lights to depict head and tail lights, (white headlights x 2, red tail-lights x 2).
Here's a picture of the chassis if anybody can tell me some stuff about it:

And the body:

I figured that I can't afford a brand new one, so I'll have to buy second hand. I seriously have no idea what's good or bad, so should I wait for another car to pop up in the near future? or take this one?

Thanks HEAPS

I know the chassis is TT01. So everytime if its TT01, buy it. TT01 chassis is awesome for drifting and youll never regret it until you go for something better. Also its a good start. thats what im using right now.

Thanks, auction ends in four days... I'll bid up to $350

Man.... I talked to my dad about it and he can't understand why I'd want to sell a nitro and buy an electric. He says ten minuites play and your back inside for 3 hours to charge it again.

I had an idea of bringing a trickle charger with me, and an old car battery. My dad has a car battery charger, so I could easily charge that every week, and it could charge a 1800mAh battery in 15 mins while I waste the other....

ooh thinking out loud, not good for the pocket!

i def think that 350 dollars is way over priced. also when your drifting you dont get 10 mins of play time depending on your setup you can pull 30 to 45 minutes out of your car and it only takes bout 40 mins to charge your batt.

No...

I meant to use a REAL CAR charger to charge the REAL CAR BATTERY
Then once that is charged, I could take the REAL CAR BATTERY out to the track, and plug the quick charger for RC CAR BATTERIES onto the REAL CAR BATTERY.

Also, it's $350 NZD... If you want to know the brand new price of all the stuff, it worked out to be around $500 NZD+.

There's another one on there that ends two days after this one. So I won't even go 50 cents over my budget.
