NITRO! I doubt there is a way to do it with electric.
You are going to have to do some serious modding, or with a gas RC.

smoke balls or smoke emitters (used for vaccum testing, etc).. work dandy.. you'll just have to create some sort of box or something they sit in in front of your rear shock tower, that allows for smoke to escape out the back, and not elsewhere.. you will need to have the bottom well covered, due to the heat either of these items put out... but, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!

we do it all the time, and provides just the PERFECT effect!!!

sorry, no tires squeeling..

these aren't 1:1 scale cars we're talking about...

wat about some sort of cold smoke (fog) producing device such as a pocket sized fog machine or the thing that puffs some on little hobbie trains?
i know about 2 years ago i bought a walmart (i kno i kno just keep reading) rc hemi cuda that was ok to look at, it was orange with black steelies (15inch steel wheels not any of them big chrome things) and it was terribly slow and the battery pack ran down inthin 10min and the speed (of a bout 3mph down hill) would cut in half when trying to turn and gas it at the same time
but back on track i bought it because it was good looking, only $20 and on the box it said true to life burnouts well when i got home i opened it and in the car was a mini fog machine (like wat r used in nite clubs just much smaller) and when you pushed the burnout button 2 rods came out of the bottom of the car and lifted the back wheels about 1mm off the ground and the tires started spinning and a little speaker played sounds of revving engines and squeeling tires and after about 5 sec (took a lil time to make the smoke) it started emitting white smoke from hoses in the wheel wells and i tell you wat it made plenty of some that after about 45sec in a closed roon the car would just about dissappear and the room would get all smokey.
to make a short story long i ran out of smoke liquid and was to lazy to buy more so i used my tmaxx thto give it helping hand getting over the 5mph mark (actually closer to 50mph) and took if off of some jumps and eventually lit it on fire
well all i remember is it was west coast shoppers branded and and it was an orange cuda that was plain as sin and on the side said 440
hope i helped

http://cgi.ebay.com/Remote-control-w...QQcmdZViewItem

found one on flea bay
you could take the smoke making guts out install in your drifter
then take the fron and rear bumpers off of the cuda and you got a nice looking "model" sitting on your shelf and you have a drifter that "smokes" its tires

hell even if you buy it just so you have an rc that dose burnouts that are all nice and smokey lol
