Hi All,
Just want to share the joy of what I just bought:
Novak XRS Reversible Sport ESC
Tamiya NISMO Coppermix Silvia TT-01 Kit
Futaba 2PH 2-Channel AM/1 S3003 Servo 76
DuraTrax 6-Cell 7.2V DTX4200 NiMH Stick Standard
The total comes out to be $250 USD. I'm a casual racer, I play maybe once or twice a month with no racing buddies. The reason for the reversilbe ESC is because I just would like to have one and the the radio is just purly budget reasons (I'm 50 bucks over the limit!) What do you guys think? Is this a good beginner set for a casual drifter? What other items do i need besides drifting tires?
Thanks guys

For hop ups, I would suggest: Ball Bearings, Alu Prop shaft, Heat sink, alu wheel hexes, carbon upper frame, new shocks, and maybe another body if you dont want to trash that silivia.
Good Luck

yeah for sure, but I'd get an alu propshaft before you REALLY start bashing and everything, just so you dont damage your gears ands stuff from the plastic driveshaft rattling and bending too much.

Honestly....i ran my TT-01D stock with the plastic center shaft for over 2 years now.....I kno it wobble's...but sure dosent hurt the gears in any way shape or form...I kno the alloy shaft is cheep...just never got around to it.
too busy with the nitro season.
