The E10 from HPI is awesome for the money. Better than the TT01 in my opinion. ONly thing I don't like about it is the shaft has some play when you start getting up there in speed. Sprint2 is also good. Not that the TT01 is BAD, but the E10 has a better balance imo. If you're on a budget, do some research on the E10, Sprint2, and TTO1D. They're all good for what you pay though.

Depends on your budget..
Most people who start out with TT01 or TT01D (drift ready) tend to end up paying double the amount in upgrades later on. Hence, go for at least TT01R straight away if you want the TT01.
Tamiya produces both TT01 and the much better TB02, I advise you to take a look at TB02D (Drift) RTR, or HPI Sprint 2 Drift RTR - both the regular and the new "sport" version is a lot of bang for the buck, also check out XXX-S as mentioned here, or maybe the new Losi drift package based on the XXX-S which will set you back some more, but you'll get a proper computer radio.
I'd say you'll be off on a much better start with the TB02D, Sprint2 Drift or XXX-S compared to the TT01(D/R) - these former ones drift nicely out of the box, get some ABS tires to go with them and perhaps an extra battery, you're set for lots of fun.
