Default which tamiya

I am lookin at rc mart.com

I see all the different tamiya cars... which one do you suggest...

I was lookin at the ta03r but then I realized it is not the same as the ta03f which is what I wanted... but apparently is getting harder and harder to find...

I was also thinkin bout the ta04... but I don't understand all the different numbers behind them

I got a ta03f pro chassis(frp under/over two peice frame) with wheels, tires, and shell. No electrics and the gears are all good. Make me an offer.

dont buy used, if you want to drift get a HPI mainly because you dont have to hop up every part in the car to get it ready to drift which is a pain in the but to do, HPI slides out of the box very nicely if i had any tamia car it would go on Ebay ASAP HPI cars are great for sliding and a good price, bit more than tt01s and ta04s and all the tamiya cars but they slide great, the battery is in a good location for weight and all the electronics are nice, if you suck at drifting and cant learn you can get the drift electronic box and that helps but nobody needs it or at least that i know of. Anyways if you got the mbudget a HPI car with a nice battery will cost you a good 400 Dollars but from my driving of tamiyas they really dont preform as well, go for HPI.

For Drifting in the Tamiya Range

Belt Drive : TA-05

Shaft : TT-01 or TB-02

Ideally a Tamiya TBEV05 would be great...

well.. I was gonna get a ta05 off rcmart... then the shipping was kinda steep... but I didn't realize it was over sea's...

I have had nitro's from hpi... and I loved the quality... so I went to tower and got a sprint 2 drift no electronics, actually came out cheaper than the ta05 would have because of a 15.00 discount coupon..

of course im sure the cost is is going to hop back up soon because of the motor + esc combo I plan to use...
