has anyone tried out these drift tires? http://cgi.ebay.com/TAMIYA-1-10-RC-T...QQcmdZViewItem
Thats a link to the tires on ebay. I have a tt-01 and the motor puts out way too much power for pvc tires. I can't even drive straight without spinning out. I was thinking if I had slightly more traction it would be better. Does anyone have any good drift tires that they would recommend with slightly more traction? Thanks. =)

i've been running those on my tt-01 since i got last september mainly on my street and they seem to last pretty good still have lots on them and have run 30-40 battery pack on them at about 40 minutes a pack. They have a bit more grip but still slide out. I've since locked my rear diff and gone to abs big difference huge drifts and easier to initiate also last a long time. In your case these would be good tires. Im running rz 23t and 22t/61t gearing and abs is fine although like you say hard to go in a straight line with plastic.

they're nice tires but it's hard to control you car becuase they have more grip then ABS. also you need a fairly strong motor to break tread with those tires (depending on the surface)
i like using them for fast drifts and more realistic speeds. but i get shorter run times with them even with my mamba maxx setup. not by much though
