Where is anyone going to park if they do decide to show up?
The last time that I visited OLDE TOWNE HOBBY, in downtown
Manassas, the parking lot behind the shop was full. I finaly found
a parking spot four blocks away and when I returned to my car.
I had a parking ticket on the windshield, when there was still 20
minutes on the parking meter. It's a great little shop, but it's in a
very bad location. I think you would have to get something going
on out by the battelfields somewhere and that wouldn't drum up
much business for OTHobby, but would bring in some business for
the HobbyTown shop, if they met in there parking lot.

Thats a shame that there gone. I always ended buying alot more
than I went there looking for. It was a little shop, but they always
had the best of all the rc goodies on hand and gave me some great
deals. Hey areo and oakleaf, where are you guys located in No.Va.?
Do you ever run on Fri. and Sat. nights at the BJ's parking lot in
Fair Oaks? Do either of you know Min or Dave that work near there
at the HobbyHanger? I'd like to get together to run the rc's sometime.
I own a couple 1/8 Truggies, two NTC3's, a DM-1, a bunch of Rc18's
set up for dirt and road and many other different rc's. So, let me know
what to bring, when and where.

well i was thinking more of the old town pavillion cause theres a parking lot and an open spot under a roof and everything. the gravels sweet and its open enough to put a track in

I'm sure as soon as the weather warms up some more the night
time action will start up again at the FAIR OAKS LOT. Everyone
usualy shows up under the street lights in front of NTW around
10 PM. They bring a little bit of everything to run, you name it,
it is just a big place to burn up some nitro or batteries. I have
ran until daylight a few times. If you bring any on-road cars,
try to have a bright colored body on them, the lots friggin huge.
My friend had a mean R40 with a black 69 Camaro body on it.
It would disappear down at the bottom of the lot at 70 mph.
Check it out sometime, it's a great place to meet some people,
and get what ever you bring dialed in, broke-in or broke up. Ha! Ha!
Also, night time running during the summer is a great way to have some
fun and beat the heat. I hope to meet everyone there soon.

Any indoor tracks around?  I'm really not trying to play in all this sand and salt.  Parking garages are always nice, I was gonna go rape Mary Wash's garage to get some practice in.

I can't wait to drive this thing..

And I have my stock motor, esc, front diff, and spur gear mount all brand new unused if anyone needs parts...</p>
