hey guys, i've narrowed my chassis choices to the TT-01, TT-01D and the TB-02D. Can anyone tell me what's the big difference between the original TT-01 and the Drift spec, and is the drift spec worth it even tho i may hop up parts anyway later on? also is it true that the TT-01/TT-01D are better in a way due to the different type of differential setup?
these are the ones i've been looking at:

just putting it out there, but i'm guessing that the difference on price between the tt-01D's is due to the different body's? or am i missing something?
cheers

The TT01-D has full ball-bearings, oil filled shocks, adjustable camber & toe, also comes with some anti-wear grease for the diffs. It's a very heavy metallic-like grease that tightens up the diff action so it acts more like a solid axle (good for drifting).
I've owned a basic TT01 and currently own a TT01-D and can tell you that the drift-spec kit is a much better bang for your buck.
Edit: Forgot to mention...the regular TT01 kit uses plastic bushings, friction shocks and has no camber & toe adjustability.

I have the TT-01D and it is basically stock, locked the diffs and it drifts great. The only down side of it is poor shocks and it has a bad turning radius which i guess is to be expected with an AWD car.
Edit: TT-01R actually
